Honoured to be nominated

I've just been told that I have been nominated for the Cambridge Evening News Business Awards as Business Woman of the Year - thank you very much to the person who made the nomination, I'm delighted.

I was thrilled at the end of last year when I was recognised as the Most Outstanding Trainer in JCI UK for 2005. I ran an impromptu training session for the JCI members in Ulaanbataar when I returned from the Gobi Desert and then in September went to JCI Malta as their keynote speaker for the Maltese National Conference. On both occasions I ran sessions on how we can manage our own energy and how to control the effect we have on others. Amazing stuff!

Following Mongolia with Morocco

A question I am now often asked is "how do you follow that trip?". Well, here's the answer. I've just booked a holiday to Morocco - ok I know it's not quite as far away and will be much more civilised than Mongolia (I'm expecting to be able to have a daily wash on this trip!). It does come with it's own differences and challenges though..........
...........I'm going with Traveleyes, a company set up to provide holidays to the visually impaired and sighted traveller, as a partnership. So here's a real test to my communication skills. It isn't until the end of April and I'll update this with my experiences.
